Richard Mofe Damijo (RMD) is a theatrical sta ge performer, dancer, actor, movie producer and writer, ex journalist and publis her, public relations guru, lawyer, philanthropist and mentor; and presently the Honourable Commissioner for Culture and Tourism in Delta State.
He was born Richard Evans Eyimofe Mofe-Damijo 06 July 1961 in Delta State. Mofe-Damijo’s talent started revealing itself when he was a young boy, playing in his Warri neighbourhood. In  Primary  School, he took the roles of Jesus or  Peter in Biblical dramas.
He  was  martial arts during his A­Levels. He attended the Cook Theatre Arts  Department of the University of Benin.In 1982, while in University, he played Emeka in Echoes of Wrath. The TV-film won the Nigerian Television Authority National Annual Drama Competition nationwide. He is a lover of stage acting. In 1983, he bagged a B.A (Hons) Degree in Theatre Arts.

Also obtained LL.B and BL (Law) from the University of Lagos and the Law S c h o o l ( A b uja ) 2004 /2005 respectively.
RMD once worked as a N200 per month clerk; now he is the Chief Executive Officer, Whitewater PR Limited, a part of RMD promotions. On graduation, he took part in the 80’s TV soap opera, Ripples.
He also acted in Sparks and Checkmate. Earlier, he had a stint with Concord Newspapers and Metro Magazine as a reporter. He also worked briefly with his late wife, MEE, then publisher of Classique Magazine. Later, he started Mister Magazine, for the male gender. RMD had acted in 30 films like Tulip Banden, Out of Bounds, The Price, etc. He equally starred in 100 plays on stage and has performed also on the London sta ge in a Nigeria n adaptation of Macbeth, between 1995-2004.  He featured  in Italy too.
